Ingredients
- 500 g 500g pork (sirloin or shoulder), sliced into thin strips
- 3 tbsp 3 tbsp black beans (tausi), rinsed and lightly mashed
- 4 clove 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pc 1 small onion, sliced
- 1 thumb 1 thumb ginger, julienned
- 1 pc 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 tbsp 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 2 tbsp 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tbsp 1 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Marinate the pork slices in soy sauce for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Saute garlic, onion, and ginger until fragrant.
- Add the pork and stir-fry until lightly browned and no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the black beans, mashing them slightly to release their flavor, and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Add the bell pepper, oyster sauce, sugar, and water. Simmer for 3 to 4 minutes until the pork is cooked through.
- Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook, stirring, until the sauce thickens and coats the pork.
- Serve hot with steamed rice.
