Ingredients
- 0.5 kg Pork loin or pork shoulder, sliced into strips
- 0.25 kg Pork liver, sliced into strips
- 3 tbsp Cooking oil
- 1 pc Onion, sliced
- 5 cloves Garlic, minced
- 0.3333 cup Soy sauce
- 0.25 cup Vinegar
- 1 pc Carrot, julienned
- 0.5 cup Green peas
- 1 pc Red bell pepper, sliced
- 2 pc Bay leaves
- 3 pinch Salt, to taste
- 0.5 tsp Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Marinate the pork strips in soy sauce and vinegar for 15-20 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
- Remove pork from marinade (reserve liquid) and sauté in the pan until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Pour in the reserved marinade, water or broth, and bay leaves. Bring to a boil, then simmer covered for 25-30 minutes until pork is tender.
- Add carrot and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the liver strips and cook for 3-5 minutes, being careful not to overcook.
- Add bell pepper and green peas, and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot with steamed rice.
