Ingredients
- 6 pcs Boneless pork chops, pounded thin
- 1 tsp Salt
- 0.5 tsp Pepper
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 pc Eggs, beaten
- 1.5 cups Breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp Oil for frying
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 cup Button mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp All-purpose flour (for gravy)
- 0.5 cup Evaporated milk
- 3 pinch Salt, to taste
- 0.5 tsp Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Season pork chops with salt and pepper, then pound to about 1/4-inch thickness for tenderness.
- Set up a dredging station: flour, beaten eggs, then breadcrumbs.
- Coat each pork chop in flour, dip in egg, then coat evenly with breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the breaded pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.
- For the gravy, melt butter in a separate pan and sauté mushrooms until softened.
- Sprinkle in flour and stir for 1-2 minutes to form a roux, then gradually whisk in broth.
- Stir in evaporated milk and simmer until thickened, then season with salt and pepper.
- Plate the fried pork chops and top with the mushroom gravy, or serve gravy on the side. Serve hot with rice.
