🧀 Chicken Cordon Bleu

Ingredients
- 4 pcs Boneless chicken breast, butterflied and pounded thin
- 4 slices Ham
- 4 slices Cheddar or quickmelt cheese
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 2 pc Eggs, beaten
- 1 cup Breadcrumbs
- 3 pinch Salt, to taste
- 0.5 tsp Pepper, to taste
- 2 cup Cooking oil, for deep frying
Instructions
- Season the flattened chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on each chicken breast.
- Roll up tightly, tucking in the sides, and secure with toothpicks.
- Dredge each roll in flour, dip in beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep pan to medium heat (around 160-170°C).
- Fry the rolls, turning occasionally, for 10-12 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
- Drain on paper towels and remove toothpicks.
- Slice diagonally to show the ham and cheese filling, and serve hot with gravy or ketchup on the side.
