Ingredients
- 3 bundle 3 bundles misua noodles
- 200 g 200g ground pork
- 2 pc 2 eggs, beaten (1 for meatballs, 1 for egg-drop)
- 2 tbsp 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 4 clove 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pc 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 thumb 1 thumb ginger, julienned
- 1 tbsp 1 tbsp fish sauce (patis), or to taste
- 0.25 tsp 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 stalk 2 stalks spring onions, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine the ground pork with 1 beaten egg, a pinch of salt, and pepper. Mix well and shape into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat oil in a pot over medium heat. Saute garlic, onion, and ginger until fragrant.
- Pour in water and bring to a boil.
- Drop the meatballs into the boiling broth and simmer for 8 to 10 minutes, until cooked through.
- Season the broth with fish sauce and pepper.
- Add the misua noodles and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, just until tender. Misua cooks very quickly and turns mushy if left too long.
- Drizzle in the remaining beaten egg in a thin stream, stirring gently to create ribbons.
- Garnish with chopped spring onions and serve hot.
