Ingredients
- 700 g 700 g beef tenderloin or sirloin, cubed
- 0.25 cup 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp 1 tsp ground black pepper
- 10 clove 1 whole head garlic, minced (divided)
- 4 tbsp 4 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp 2 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 tbsp 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 pc Chili flakes to taste (optional)
- 1 tbsp Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate beef cubes in soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, oyster sauce, black pepper, and half of the minced garlic for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a hot pan or wok and sear the marinated beef in batches over high heat until browned on the outside but still juicy inside, about 2 to 3 minutes per batch. Remove and set aside.
- In the same pan, melt butter and add the remaining minced garlic, frying until golden and crisp; remove some garlic bits for garnish.
- Return the beef to the pan along with any collected juices, sugar, and chili flakes if using.
- Toss everything together over high heat for 1 to 2 minutes until beef is coated and heated through.
- Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as needed.
- Transfer to a serving plate, top with crispy garlic bits and chopped parsley, and serve immediately with steamed rice.
