- 3 pinch 1 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 cup 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 pc 2 pcs eggs, beaten
- 1.5 cup 1.5 cups breadcrumbs
- 1 cup 1 cup cooking oil (for frying)
- 2 tbsp 2 tbsp butter
- 3 clove 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pc 1 onion, chopped
- 200 g 200 g button mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tbsp 2 tbsp all-purpose flour (for gravy)
- 0.25 cup 1/4 cup all-purpose cream
- 3 pinch Salt and pepper to taste
- 0.5 tsp Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Season the pounded beef fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs in separate dishes. Dredge each fillet in flour, dip in egg, then coat evenly with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and fry the breaded fillets until golden brown and cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
- For the gravy, melt butter in a separate pan and sauté garlic and onion until fragrant.
- Add mushrooms and cook until softened and lightly browned, about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle flour over the mushrooms and stir for 1 minute to cook off the raw flour taste.
- Gradually pour in beef broth, whisking to avoid lumps, and simmer until the gravy thickens.
- Stir in the cream and season with salt and pepper, simmering for another 2 minutes.
- Plate the fried beef fillets and generously spoon the mushroom gravy over the top before serving with rice or mashed potatoes.
